Our Staff

Oren has had a lifetime fascination with sound and music. At age 14, the gift of a tube powered reel-to-reel tape recorder and a mail-order guitar basically sealed his fate. Since then, he has worked with audio as a committed amateur and performing/recording professional in central Canada and the West Coast. His ear for fine tuning and shaping the sound of a mix is exceptional. We are very happy to include him in our staff of engineers and recording artists. In addition to his mastering skills, his instrumental specialty is guitar, but his lyric ability is also a strongpoint.

Barry began playing saxophone in the sixth grade, continuing onto high school he played in the marching band and eventually joined the jazz band. Barry saw himself go from class clown to jazz intellect while attempting to find his sound, a mixture he described as "jazz, rock, and a little bit of classical" His musical influences ranged from Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Elton John, Kansas, to Rush. In his teen-age years his interest expanded from these pop rock idioms into styles that were more free form like jazz-fusion and art rock with influences like Frank Zappa, Jean Luc Ponty, David Sanborn, Bill Bruford etc. (Current interests include U2, Pearl Jam and Linkin Park etc.) At that time he realized the inherent limitations of his sax playing so Barry began studying piano, flute, and vocals.
Realizing he needed more musical knowledge, he enrolled at Michigan State University with music as his major. Limited cash brought him back home, but the ear training and sax knowledge he gained was invaluable. Barry is our Sax and Vocals specialist. Bob is the technical support and technology specialist. He handles the final mastering and product details. Bob is also a utility musician, playing keyboards, bass, guitar and trumpet. His vocal abilities are well suited to recording backup vocals. Bob studied scoring and arranging in college, and is now working on his degree in computer technology to add to our arsenal. He does the web design and maintenance for the sites, and also serves as one of our recording engineers. Contact Bob for any mastering, scoring, web design or other needs for your project.
